Ahead of Inter vs Parma this Saturday afternoon, FootStats have taken a look at the history of the fixture involving the Nerazzurri and Ducali.

In the past 23 encounters between the sides at Inter’s home, the San Siro, Inter have scored at least one goal in each of the games.

Inter hold an overall record of 16 wins, eight draws and just one defeat when playing Parma at San Siro. The loss dates way back to the 1988/89 season while the most recent result between the sides was a 1-1 draw during the 2014/15 season.

This will be the second time in history that the pair lock horns on match day four also. The only other time they met on match day four was during the 2004/05 season and the match ended 2-2.

Aside from the match itself, FootStats also reveal that Inter have conceded 2999 goals to date in Serie A and Parma could of course take that figure in to the 3000’s if they are able to score.
