Lautaro Unlikely To Be Fit For Inter’s Matches Against Parma & Tottenham

Lautaro Martinez is out injured and the Argentinian striker began his rehabilitation yesterday morning from the hematoma to the soleus (calf muscle) in his left leg.

According to Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport, Lautaro who missed the two recent friendly matches with Argentina, worked in the gym with the group.

The Gazzetta reports that “Almost certainly he will be unavailable for both Parma and Tottenham but he will be monitored every day to understand the expected length of his recovery.”

Lautaro was a last minute absentee from Inter’s most recent Serie A game against Bologna having a suffered an injury in the build up to the match. Nevertheless Lautaro still responded to the call from his national side but was unable to recover form the injury in time to play any part in either of the two friendlies. He was sent back to Milano where he will continue his recovery in a bid to be fit for Saturday’s match against Parma or the Champions League debut against Tottenham.
