Sime Vrsaljko will miss Inter’s match on Saturday at home to Parma through injury according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
The defender injured his knee in Croatia’s 6-0 thumping from Spain and hobbled off the pitch. Tomorrow he will undergo all the relevant testing and it is hoped that the scans do not bring up anything serious. It is hoped that he will be back available to manager Luciano Spalletti sooner rather than later but until the tests are conducted it is unknown when he can likely be expected to return to action.
After the match last night, both he and Croatia manager Zlatko Dalic confirmed he had in fact been carrying the injury for quite some time but aggravated it in last night’s game that he played just 20 minutes in.
The 26-year-old is a summer arrival at the Nerazzurri and has made two appearances in an Inter shirt so far this season.
