The famous British magazine FourFourTwo has ranked the ten best strikers in the world in its most recent issue, a ranking where the captain of Inter, Mauro Icardi, is recognised alongside nine of the other best strikers in the world.

The Argentinian is ranked in eighth position in front of Romelu Lukaku and Karim Benzema: “Icardi still misses the high level test, having not played either in a World Cup or in the Champions League, but this year he will be able to make up for the absence in the second competition, after been a significant factor in Inter’s qualification for the tournament itself last season. If he ever decides to move on from his experience at San Siro, the offers from other big clubs will certainly not be lacking,” the magazine states.

For the record, the ranking sees Cristiano Ronaldo as the best striker, ahead of Luis Suarez and Robert Lewandowski.
