According to Tuttosport, Inter and Milan will be remain at San Siro for the foreseeable future and will embark on a joint project to modernise the stadium and bring it in line with other top stadiums around the globe and receive a five-star rating from European football’s governing body UEFA.

The two clubs are to soon meet with the Milan city council where a deal will be signed that will see a lease signed for a period of 99 years.

Milan have been tenants of the 80,018 capacity stadium since it was first built back in 1926 while Inter became tenants in 1947 having previously played their football at Arena Civica.

Since Suning took over at Inter in the summer of 2016 there has been a clear sense of direction when it comes to the stadium and its future whereas it has not been so clear at Milan up until Elliot Management took over in recent months.
