While most of Inter’s players who have been away on international duty are already back in Milan and in training at Appiano Gentile for that matter, some players are still to come back.

Croatia duo Ivan Perisic and Sime Vrsaljko will be back today (Thursday). Perisic will begin his preparations for the match with Parma on Saturday as league actions resumes after the break while Vrsaljko will be in the treatment room as he undergoes testing on an injury sustained during the international break to his knee. Reports doing the rounds in the media suggest that Vrsaljko will miss the game on Saturday.

Another player yet to return is club captain Mauro Icardi who has been in the United States with Argentina and faces a long journey back to Milan. The 25-year-old striker – who is still looking to open his goalscoring account for the season will be back in training on Friday.
