Ahead of today’s Serie A match against Parma, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti faces a decision on who will be the starting striker for the Nerazzurri.

Mauro Icardi is pushing for the start, but Spalletti may choose to go with Senegalese Keita Balde as he did against Bologna before the international break. Keita seems to be the favorite to start the match, how far into the game he will last is up to Spalletti.

Mauro Icardi may be used as a substitute in this match according to SportMediaset who reports that Spalletti has tested Icardi in the starting lineup during yesterday’s morning’s training session and rotated Keita in the second part of it.

Aside from the dilemma of who will start in the striker position, Skriniar and De Vrij will be the choices to start at center back. In the attacking midfield positions Politano, Nainggolan, and Perisic will not be changed.

Due to fixture congestion, Spalletti may take caution as to who he chooses to start this weekend against Parma. Inter will only have a few days of rest ahead of their first Champions League match against Tottenham.
