Who will be leading Inter’s attack against Parma today? Tuttosport are asking the question and are trying to understand what Luciano Spalletti has in mind for this afternoon’s game.

“The feeling is that Spalletti would prefer not to risk Icardi by starting him, not because he is not feeling well, but because Inter will have to face Tottenham on Tuesday the 18th at the San Siro followed by two more league games (Sampdoria on Saturday the 22nd at the Marassi and Fiorentina on Tuesday the 25th at the San Siro.) Spalletti has to make these important decisions based on both physical and psychological factors. Icardi is a player who is not crushed by pressure, but going into the Champions League after already scoring a goal in the league could affect him differently than going into the game against Tottenham without having scored at all this season. The Argentinian forward has not scored since July 24th in a friendly against Sheffield.”

Here is Tuttosport’s predicted lineup for this game:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, De Vrij, Skriniar, Asamoah; Gagliardini, Brozovic; Politano, Nainggolan, Perisic; Icardi.
