Parma recorded their first win away at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against Inter in the Serie A since May 1999 thanks to an absolute screamer by Federico Dimarco who is on loan at Parma from Inter.

The Nerazzurri dominated the ball possession at 73% and had 28 shots on goal with 8 hitting the target but failed to put the ball in the back of the net. Parma defended well and were dangerous on the counter but failed to create dangerous chances which is why Dimarco’s goal came against the run of play and seemed to come out of the blue.

As everyone knows, it’s not how much you have the ball but what you do when you have it, a lesson Inter learned the hard way against the Serie A newcomers.
