Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has ensured that he and his teammates are ready to face the challenge of Inter in the Champions League during the pre-match press conference ahead of this evening’s encounter at the San Siro.

“We can not wait to get started, there is the possibility to compete with the best, it will be fun. We are ready to play.”

The Dane also played down the praise he received from Inter midfielder Matias Vecino who claimed he was Spurs most dangerous player.

“There is me but there is also 10 other strong players. I am used to this pressure. The most important thing is the team. If they want to focus on me more, it allows the other 10 players to be more free.”

The 26-year-old has been with the north London club for five years now and is world renowned for his play making ability that has seen him draw links with Real Madrid recently.
