Inter celebrated their return to the Champions League in the best possible way by beating Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 after a late dramatic winner by Uruguayan international Matias Vecino.

Spurs took the lead midway through the second half through Christian Eriksen when his shot deflected off of Joao Miranda and spun over Handanovic who got a finger on it but was unable to push it over the bar. This seemed to be the wake-up call Inter needed as they started to attack more with determination.

In the 85th minute Mauro Icardi scored what arguably is the most important and most beautiful goal up to date in an Inter shirt when he blasted home the equalizer on volley. In the 92nd minute the man whose winning header against Lazio last season was the reason the Nerazzurri are in the Champions League to begin with, repeated that feat and headed home the winner.
