Sampdoria attacker Gianluca Caprari believes that La Samp’s fans could make all the difference to the players as they take on Inter this Saturday.

“We will face a strong team in Inter. We have seen how they did against Tottenham. We have to be good and play like we always do here at Marassi, our fans will be the twelfth man on the pitch,” he explained to Il Secolo XIX.

The Italian, who is formerly of Inter although never played, then reflected on last night’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina, a game that was initially postponed in wake of the Genoa bridge tragedy last month.

“It was a good match, they had a few more chances in the first half than we did but we were better in the second half. It is a good time for both the team and for me, I want to go on like this. I want to convince the coach to use me as much as possible “.
