Inter Have Made €7 Million From Home Games This Season

Inter have played three home games across all competitions this season and have raised some €7 million from them, with half of that figure alone coming from Inter’s Champions League match with Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The figures are huge in terms of helping Inter comply with the settlement agreement signed with UEFA in relation to financial fair play. Such figures have long convinced the Nerazzurri management that moving away from San Siro simply should not be considered and that the stadium is well worth it for them financially. In fact, Gazzetta put it, “San Siro is a place that Inter can not renounce.”

The Milan based newspaper also report that the managements of both Inter and Milan will soon meet with the city council who own the stadium to strike a new long term tenancy agreement with some reports suggesting a new 99 year lease could be signed.
