Gazzetta dello Sport have recalled some other famous Inter comebacks following their late comeback against Tottenham Hotspur to win 2-1 on Tuesday night in the Champions League.

“The most famous is the one against Sampdoria in 2004-2005: from 2-0 down to 3-2 up in the last minutes of the match. There was the 4-3 win in the 2006 Super Cup against Spalletti’s Roma where Inter were 3-0 down and a 4-3 comeback win at Siena in 2009-2010. A year later Inter under Leonardo came from 2-0 down against Palermo with thanks to goals from Eto’o and Pazzini.

“Then another three super-comebacks in the Champions League. The one against Kiev in the last moments of the match in 2009-2010 was decisive, just like the one against Barça in the semi-final first leg in Milan from 1-0 down to 3-1 winners. Then at the Allianz Arena the following year, an incredible 3-2 win for the Nerazzurri, with Pandev 2 minutes from the end overturning the result against Bayern in some of the last flashes of a legendary Inter.”
