Inter will be benefactors if Genoa opt to take up their €5 million option on loan midfielder Daniel Bessa this according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter will pocket a figure of €1.5 million from the deal should it materialise due to them inserting a 30% sell on clause in to the deal when they dealt Bessa to Hellas Verona back in the summer of 2017.

A small figure but in the grand scheme of things it will make all the difference to Inter when it comes to them meeting their settlement agreement target of breaking even in line with financial fair play.

Bessa is a product of Inter’s academy and despite showing a lot of promise at youth level, he was never given a chance to showcase himself at senior level in a Nerazzurri shirt. This season for Genoa he has appeared in four games across all competitions but has yet to score or assist on a goal.
