Arrigo Sacchi gave his thoughts on the Inter vs Tottenham match to Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport and he believes that Inter are facing a few problems that Spalletti has to fix if they want to be successful this season.

Saccho hopes that the win against Spurs will encourage Inter to become a successful side this season. He explains the emotions of the Inter fans who almost whistled their team off the field but instead turned into cheers of victory stating that: “Inter was dominated by Tottenham for 85 minutes but then takes advantage of the mistakes of the careless English team to unleash themselves in the final after the splendid goal of the killer Icardi and win the game.

“The Inter fans, were ready to jeer the possible defeat but were then exalted by the victory in the at the end of the match. They hope that this success will bring courage, ideas and also results. The Nerazzurri are a not a group so it is difficult to think and move together, they do not have not the right spirit, as well as the ideal collaboration and unity of intent. The problem for Spalletti is that he wants to give ideas to the team to play to as a group but they do not currently have sufficient human interaction, psychological and tactical awareness.”
