Moments after the goalless first half at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa’s Marassi district, Inter’s Slovakian international defender Milan Skriniar was interviewed by Dazn about his thoughts on the first half.

The former Sampdoria man was not too happy about how Inter started the match stating that: “In the beginning we were a little bit asleep but then we began to start to play our own football. It is a shame that the goal was disallowed but we have to do more in the second half.”

In conclusion Skriniar was asked about his thoughts on the fact that Nainggolan’s goal was disallowed to which he replied: “I did not see what happened, but if the VAR signals that it was offside then it must have been offside.”

Skriniar joined Inter in July 2017 for a reported fee of €20 million including Gianluca Caprari as part payment. Skriniar has since then featured 44 times for the Nerazzurri scoring 4 goals in the process.
