Good news has been circulating from Appiano Gentile yesterday according to a report by Italian TV channel  Sky Sport 24 regarding Lautaro Martinez who should be fit and recover in time for tonight’s match after much uncertainty throughout the week.

Danilo D’Ambrosio has recovered as reported and expected but Sime Vrsaljko remains sidelined until next weekends fixture with a very slim chance that he will be fit for the upcoming midweek fixture at home against Fiorentina.

Spalletti still has to choose who to start on the right side of the wing between Antonio Candreva and Matteo Politano. Ivan Perisic still remains in question due to match fatigue and the Croatian winger was not among the starting players in the tactical sessions during yesterday’s training therefore, Keita Balde may be chosen to start in his spot on the left side.

Inter will be facing a congested fixture list within the next month and will need to rotate players to avoid injury but Spalletti has many players at his disposal so this may not be an issue.
