Inter’s Spanish midfielder Borja Valero was in a joking mood when he spoke to Italian TV channel SportMediaset after the Nerazzurri defeated Sampdoria in the Serie A clash at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris thanks to an injury time winner by Croatian international midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The former Fiorentina midfielder began by joking saying that: “These wins against Tottenham and Sampdoria are not ideal for people with heart conditions, we hope to make our fans suffer less in the upcoming matches. Winning in the last minute against a strong team like Tottenham really charged us up. We really wanted the three points against Sampdoria which makes the league table look a little better.”
“Our start to the season was anything but optimal and so we are forced to take points so we had to go home with the three points and we need to do so again on Tuesday against Cagliari” Borja Valero concluded.
