Marcelo Brozovic’s match-winning performance for Inter against Sampdoria was borne out by the impressive passing stats the Croatian posted.
The 25 year-old scored the stoppage-time goal that secured a 1-0 success for Luciano Spalletti’s men on Saturday night but it was his all-round display which impressed, with some supporters suggesting that he is back to his best after a sluggish start to the season.
According to stats company WhoScored, Brozovic had 90 touches during the game at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris and boasted a pass completion rate of 84.5%, while also making as many as 12 long passes.
93′ & 11” – Marcelo Brozovic has scored vs Sampdoria after 93 minutes and 11 seconds, the latest Inter’s goal in the top Italian league since Eder vs Udinese (Aprile 2016). Extremis. #SampdoriaInter
