Inter Winger Keita Balde: “We Needed This Result Against Sampdoria”

Keita Balde stressed the importance of the 1-0 win over Sampdoria in an interview with Inter TV post-match at the Marassi stadium.

“We needed this result over a Sampdoria side that closed us down a lot, the coach asked me to do the same to them and I think I did well in that aspect.”

The Senegalese attacker, who arrived at Inter from Monaco during the summer transfer window, then revealed that he believes that it is ‘very important’ that the Nerazzurri go on a run of form both in the league and in the Champions League.

“At the moment we are having to play lots both in Italy and in Europe and must always think about winning. It will be very important to get a run of form, especially in the league. We have to give our everything. We have a big squad and everyone in it can make a difference.”
