Borja Valero was interviewed by journalists present at the Marassi and he gave his comments and thoughts on Inter’s important away victory against Sampdoria.
“The last two games were won in the final few minutes,” he told reporters. “This situation is not very good for fans who have weak hearts, but we hope to make them suffer a little less in the next few matches.
“These wins certainly gave us a lot of confidence in ourselves and our abilities, first against Tottenham and then tonight against Sampdoria. These three points certainly help in the league table as we get closer to where we want to be and we hope to do it again on Tuesday against Fiorentina at the San Siro.
“I’m slowly being integrated into the team, the coach is giving me confidence. The most important thing is to be ready whenever there is an opportunity to play and I think I was ready.”
