The Corriere dello Sera did a quick analysis that sums up Inter’s success against Sampdoria and how hard it is for Inter fans.

“Supporting Inter is not for the faint of heart. During the game, two of Inter’s goals were correctly disallowed – one was Nainggolan’s in the first half and the second was Asamoah’s right before end of the second half. There was also Candreva’s shot which unfortunately hit the post.

“During the first half, Inter lacked the ability to create many goal-scoring opportunities but really pulled it together during the second half. This is the second time in a row that Inter waiting until the dying minutes of the game before clenching a goal and the victory.

“Inter fought hard and got the result they wanted, this is encouraging and good for Inter’s players as they look to continue their winning ways when they face Fiorentina at the San Siro on Tuesday.”
