Inter’s Italian winger Antonio Candreva stopped by Italian TV channel Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on the first 45 minutes in tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district when the Nerazzurri lead Fiorentina by 1-0.

The former Lazio winger was asked about how he thought Inter played to which he replied: “Our approach was a bit of let down at first but we have given a good performance and we have created chances. Maybe if we were a bit more aggressive we would have scored more.

“Now we have to try to score the second goal and if that were to arrive we will think about scoring the third. We do not seem able to manage the matches really well” Candreva concluded.

The former Biancocelesti winger whipped in the cross that struck the hand of Vitor Hugo and which referee Paolo Mazzoleni decided was serious enough to warrant a penalty, but not after having consulted the VAR first.
