Inter coach Luciano Spalletti will be allowed to sit on the bench and coach his team when they host Fiorentina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off schedule for 21.00 CET.

This according to the online edition of Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport who report that the Nerazzurri were successful in their appeal of the one match touch line ban the former Roma tactician received after being sent to the stands against Sampdoria last Saturday for celebrating Marcelo Brozovic’s last minute winner against the Blucerchiati.

According to the report, the one match touch line ban has instead been overturned and transformed into a €5000 fine for excessive celebrations outside the technical area. Therefore what Spalletti described yesterday as a “dangerous precedent” has now been avoided and the Nerazzurri coach is allowed to do his job and coach his team from the sidelines and a matter that should never have arisen is now closed.
