Inter’s Dutch international central defender Stefan De Vrij stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash when the Nerazzurri host Fiorentina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
The former Lazio player was asked how Inter are approaching this match to which he replied: “It is important to demonstrate the same character we have had in the past few matches, we have believed in our ability to win until the very end, but there is still a lot of work left for us to do.”
De Vrij, who joined Inter this past summer on a free transfer, continued his analysis underlining the importance of tonight’s fixture stating that: “If we want to play in the Champions League also next year we have to demonstrate our force and ability in the Serie A as well. Fiorentina are a strong team up front, they are a good team. Simeone fights for every single ball, he never gives up, he is good in the air and very annoying to face. We have to be ready.”
