Danilo D’Ambrosio spoke to InterTV after the 2-1 win against Fiorentina which was decided by his goal in the second half.
“The concept of this squad is to never give up, also because we did not start the season very well. My goal is the desire of everyone, but also I must thank the fans, they have inspired us, we are a very cohesive team. I will commit myself to assisting others, even if for a defender the first thought is not to score.”
The 29-year-old then spoke on the strength of this year’s Inter in comparison to last year’s.
“We have a lot of quality and, compared to last year, we also have many alternatives on the bench. There is a talented squad to choose from, with so much quality: the coach has a wide choice, like tonight for example when Politano and Keita came on. That is important.”
