Inter defender Kwadwo Asamoah spoke with Inter TV after Inter’s victory over Fiorentina and stressed the importance of Inter’s never say die attitude shown in the past three games.

“I’m happy with what we are doing as a team and also on a personal level, we have found the right way to win, I know I missed an opportunity to score a goal, but the important thing is that the three points arrived, then maybe my goal will come later.

“We are growing a lot, the league is not easy and it takes players of great mentality to succeed. It can happen that we concede a goal, but we must not give up because the games last 90 minutes. This mentality is very important.”

The Ghanaian then spoke on coming up against Italian starlet Federico Chiesa and the Inter fans.

“Chiesa is a good player, I’ve played against him many times, he’s smart and he’s got a good shot, but at a certain point I could not stand him anymore because he always went down without me doing anything.

“The fans have always been fantastic. They have never given up and this is very important for us. They give us the passion. We will take this spirit into the next match.”
