The true Radja Nainggolan is beginning to be seen at Inter as evidenced by his performance in the 2-1 win over Fiorentina on Tuesday, his best performance in an Inter shirt to date, according to a report from Tuttosport.
Nainggolan was injured soon in to pre-season and only returned to action against Bologna. Despite scoring on his Inter debut, it was evident that he was not in tip-top condition physically.
He came firing out the blocks in the first half of the match with La Viola and pressed opponents with great tenacity but could be seen to be tiring as the match progressed but still managed to see the whole match out. Getting a full game under his belt will certainly help him and it should not be long until he copes better especially if he plays the full 90 minutes on Saturday as Inter play host to Cagliari.
The Turin based newspaper go on to state that Nainggolan is in fact irreplaceable in Luciano Spalletti’s side and it is just a case of waiting until he hits 100% as well as properly linking up with Mauro Icardi.
