Klavan’s transfer from Liverpool to Cagliari may have helped Klopp take the lead on his competition for the potential signing of Nicolo Barella, but Inter and Milan are still after the young Italian midfielder, as reported by Tuttosport.

However, the clubs following Barella have to be extra careful when looking to spend that kind of money. So far, Inter are only considering Barella as a ‘prospect’ while they are mainly focusing on players who are considered ‘complete.’ The only gamble that Inter made in the market was for Lautaro Martinez. Ausilio has an excellent relationship with Alessandro Beltrami, the agent of Radja Nainggolan and Nicolo Barella. Milan have also started to think about Barella as Leonardo took a trip to Cagliari to begin talks with Giulini regarding the player’s future.”
