De Arrascaeta’s Agent: “No Possibility For Inter To Sign Him”

The agent of Cruzeiro midfielder Giorgian De Arrascaeta, Daniel Fonseca has denied transfer rumour reports that linked his client with a move to Inter over the summer.

“I think he can play in Europe. At Cruzeiro he makes the difference and when he was injured when they played against Boca Juniors his absence was certainly felt.

“Inter? No, honestly there was no possibility for him to move to them. There were three other teams that followed him though,” Fonseca, who played for both Napoli and Juventus during his playing days, said in an interview with Radio CRC.

Fonseca concluded the interview by speaking on Serie A and the race for the title.

“Fiorentina are playing well and Inter are growing slowly but unfortunately Roma is struggling. In Italy there will be a good fight for the title, but the strongest team remains Juventus. They have so much quality and remain the team to beat.”
