Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport analyses Inter’s win against Cagliari last night and rates the players according to how well they performed.
“It only took Lautaro Martinez twelve minutes to break the deadlock and score his first goal for Inter in the Serie A. He had an amazing performance, scored a great goal, provided Candreva with a very good goal-scoring opportunity, defended the ball with his back to the goal, he did it all.”
The Gazzetta dello Sport praised the young Argentine and named him as the man of the match in Inter’s 2-0 win against Cagliari. Lautaro and Politano were both given a 7 rating as they performed very well against hte Sardinians.
Other players who were also rated highly include De Vrij, Dalbert, Borja Valero, and Nainggolan, who all received ratings of 6.5. On the worse end of the spectrum, Gagliardini was given a 5.5 rating and Candreva was given a 5, the worst rated player on the field.
