Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera analyze Inter’s win and their ability to claw back into a decent position in the league table in today’s paper edition of the newspaper.

According to the report: “Inter are amazingly now only two points away from second place, with 13 points while Napoli currently hold 15 points. The game against Cagliari was a great way for Inter to show what they are capable of as Dalbert played very well and delivered a beautiful cross to Lautaro Martinez who was able to put the ball in the back of the net.”

The  newspaper also heaps praise on Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez stating that he “was able to show glimpses of why he is being compared to Sergio Aguero in terms of his movement and how he attacks. Lautaro is fantastic but playing together with Icardi might not be easy. Against Sassuolo, he was played as a hybrid midfielder and barely offered anything, but Spalletti has time to try to find a solution to incorporate the two Argentinians.”
