Milorad Mazic will be taking charge of his first Inter game on Wednesday night as he referees Inter’s second Champions League match away to PSV Eindhoven.

While Mazic has never refereed Inter, he has refereed a game involving an Italian team on 12 previous occasions. The Serbian, who refereed last year’s Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool, has overseen three wins, four draws and five defeats when refereeing Italian clubs.

The 45-year-old has been a FIFA referee since 2009 and considered a UEFA elite one from 2013. When not refereeing in European competition, he referees in his native Serbia in the top flight SuperLiga where he has been named the best referee nine years in a row as well as in Saudi Arabia.

In his 5 games refereed this season, Mazic has not been afraid to get yellow cards out having given out no less than 28. Moreover, he has awarded one penalty and zero red cards in that time.
