Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is sure to make changes to the rotated side that won over Cagliari at the weekend for Inter’s Champions League encounter with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah, Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino were all demoted to the bench for Saturday night’s game in order to allow them to recover ahead of Wednesday’s match. All six will more than likely return to the starting line-up for the match that is to be played at the Philips Stadion.

This means the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Dalbert and Borja Valero will all be dropped back to the bench despite all putting in good performances in the 2-0 win over the Rossoblu.

Spalletti does however have one position to decide upon and it concerns sticking or twisting with right winger Matteo Politano. With Perisic coming back in to the line up, it pushes a rejuvenated Antonio Candreva out of the starting line up. Before the match, Spalletti is still to decide whether to deploy Politano or Candreva on the right wing.
