Inter legend turned pundit Beppe Bergomi, was a guest on Sky Sport Italia’s show Sky Calcio Club where he spoke about the Nerazzurri after the match against Cagliari.
The former Nerazzurri captain stated that: “I think that in this season Inter and Roma are the only teams that in a single game can match Juventus. I didn’t see yesterday’s game but if Lautaro Martinez played the way everyone says with passion and will the fans will like him a lot.”
Giuseppe Bergomi continued by praising the Argentinian youngster who joined Inter in the Summer: “Everyone around the club speak very highly of him. But he cannot be treated like Eder was last season, who played one match and then did not play the next. You have to let a player like him play, he could be the alternative to Icardi but I think they can play well together in a hypothetical 4-4-2.”
