Inter winger Keita Balde has set his sights on achieving great success at Inter in an interview with newspaper Record.

“I want to be part of the history of this club that is famous all over the world. Inter has made history in Italian football and everybody knows it…I want to be part of that story and etch my name in the history books.”

The Senegalese then spoke on those who criticise him for his character.

“We are in a world where there is a lot of jealousy. There are certainly some people who create problems, but luckily my friends and family members keep me calm. I respect everyone and ask everyone to respect me in return.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on the Senegalese national team.

“We did not hit the heights we wanted at the World Cup. We wanted to reach the quarter-finals, but there’s no time to be sad, we have to turn the page over and look toward the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon in 2019. It is the most important tournament for us, for the country and for the fans.”
