In the eyes of Turin based newspaper, loanee Keita Balde has done little to show why Inter should take up their redemption option on him.

The winger arrived at the Nerazzurri in the summer on a season long loan – worth €5 million – and the deal includes an option to turn the move permanent for €34 million.

In seven appearances so far, totalling 224 minutes, the Senegalese has not contributed a goal nor has he contributed an assist.

Tuttosport look back to Rafinha and Joao Cancelo, both of whom were at Inter on loan last season with redemption options attached.

Despite the pair contributing more in their short time with the club than Keita currently has, Inter did not take up the option and if Keita doesn’t turn things round, Inter will not take up the option on him either. One thing that the 23-year-old does have in his favour that could help him turn things round during the season is his versatility in attack.
