SPAL president Simone Colombarini is all too aware that the odds are stacked heavily against his side this weekend when they play host to Inter but he is hopeful that the Ferrara club can still cause the Nerazzurri some problems.

“I expect us to be ready to play against a great team in Inter. We will try to make life difficult for them, but in any case we will not get ahead of ourselves because after all we have nine points, a total not at all bad for a team that is fighting against relegation. It is not against teams like Inter that we attempt to save ourselves, but if we play the SPAL way we can put some of the great players in the league in difficulty.”

SPAL head in to the game on a three game losing streak where they have conceded seven goals and scored just the once.
