Tuttosport have recalled some of Mark Van Bommel’s previous experiences against Inter ahead of his PSV Eindhoven side playing host to the Nerazzurri in the Champions League tomorrow night.

Van Bommel was part of the Bayern Munich side who lost in the Champions League final to Inter during the 2009/10 season. After leaving the German club, Van Bommel moved on to Inter’s city rivals Milan and would participate in three Milan derby’s in his time with the Rossoneri, winning one and losing two.

The 41-year-old is in his first senior management position in football and took over the reigns from Phillip Cocu in the summer. He has got his managerial career off to a fine start by leading PSV to winning all seven of their league fixtures so far this season. Van Bommel’s side are frightening in attack with 26 goals to their name in league play and tight at the back having conceded just three goals.
