Inter defender Stefan de Vrij has shared his excitement about getting to play football again in his native Holland ahead of Inter’s match away to PSV Eindhoven.

“Playing in Holland for me is always a special occasion, this is the country where I was born and raised and it is always nice to come back.”

de Vrij is no stranger to tomorrow’s opponents or the league that they play in domestically and commented on each.

“I know the the opponents well. It will be beautiful but also tough evening for us. The difference between the Eredivisie and the top five leagues in Europe is in the quality and quantity of the young players, there are many young players in the first teams.”

He concluded the interview by speaking on his ambitions for the game.

“We have to win in order to continue on the right path and to get out the group. We are in a strong group with strong opponents so we must try to win every game.”
