Inter manager Luciano Spalletti is under no illusions that his side will be in for a tough ride when they take on reigning Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

“We will play against a team that are eating opponents and spitting them back out domestically. We will have to be playing at our best and take advantage of the few spaces afforded to us by them,” he said to Inter TV.

“It is clear that PSV will be up for this game having lost their first game in the Champions League against Barcelona. They are a good team, and we must not forget that we are the fourth highest ranked in the group. We must prove ourselves individually while remaining compact at team level. They have a lot of speed and physicality.”

Spalletti was then asked what he expected his side to improve upon from the Tottenham Hotspur game.

“I expect us to have more possession than we did,” he concluded.
