Radja Nainggolan: “PSV Are A Strong Team”

Inter’s Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan was interviewed by Sky Sport Italia moments before kick-off at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven against PSV.

The former Roma player stated that: “It is an important game, if we manage to get a good result tonight it will be important for continuity too. I think that we need to give a performance where we sacrifice a lot because even if they lost 4-0 against Barcelona they are a very strong team. We need everyone to sacrifice themselves and to remain calm when we can play football.”

Nainggolan was then asked about how much he wanted to score to which he replied: “What matters is the result of the team then if one scored we all celebrate as a team.”

Moments later Nainggolan stopped by Inter TV to elaborate on his thoughts going into the match: “We need to be good at remaining calm when we have the ball and look to pass the ball when hurting them. Playing in the Champions League is the dream of all boys who grow up wanting to become football players, to hear the Champions League tune gives you goosebumps.”

“The will to do well is always there even if you play difficult opponents. We managed to notch up a good win against Tottenham and this is a match where we can give continuity to the results, we play to win but it is difficult in the Champions League. Just look at CSKA Moscow who defeated Real Madrid” Nainggolan concluded.
