After having unceremoniously been sacked by Juventus, former Bianconeri CEO Giuseppe Marotta is already looking toward his next career move, a move which could lead him to Milano and Inter several Italian reports suggest.

According to Turin based Tuttosport, Marotta has already accepted a role with the Nerazzurri whilst Rome based Corriere dello Sport reports that Suning want the soon to be former Juventus CEO. Sky Sport Italia journalist Alessandro Alciato suggested on Twitter that the former Sampdoria Director is choosing between taking a role with the Italian FA and Inter.

FcInterNews report that Marotta has declined offers from both Roma and Napoli as he intends to move to Milano and has already begun talks with Inter about a possible role at the club. According to the report, Marotta’s strong connection with current Inter manager Luciano Spalletti adds weight to the hypothesis of a role at the club. Marotta and Spalletti have already worked together at Venezia and who Spalletti was being considering for the Juventus job by Marotta before he appointed Allegri.

It is yet unclear what role Marotta would have at the club but it would be central role which could lead to current CEO Alessandro Antonello focusing entirely on the commercial aspects of the club. Marotta would then also be involved in the club’s dealings on the transfer market together with Gardini and Ausilio.

However, he must first decide between the two offers present before him: namely that from the Italian FA and Inter as it is all but certain that Marotta will stay in Italy.
