Inter’s Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was interviewed by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia ahead of tonight’s group stage clash in the Champions League away at the Philips Stadion against PSV Einhoven with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.

Handanovic was asked if he agrees that Inter’s turning point came after the dramatic win against Tottenham after which the Nerazzurri have won a further three matches on the trot to which he replied: “It is easy to say that but we can also say that the real turning point came after the defeat against Parma. Loosing at home really gives you something.”

In conclusion the former Udinese goalkeeper highlighted the win against Spurs saying that: “Then the win against Tottenham gave us the conviction and enthusiasm that we needed to continue on like this.”

Handanovic joined Inter in the summer of 2012 and has since then made 246 appearances across all competitions for the club.
