Inter’s Spanish midfielder Borja Valero was interviewed exclusively by Italian broadcaster SportMediaset after the 2-1 win in the Champions League group stage fixture away at the Philips Stadion against PSV in Eindhoven.

The former Fiorentina man was happy and relieved over the three point stating that: “In order to qualify from the group this win away from home was what we had to do. I think that these three points give us a lot of confidence and faith to continue down this path.”

Borja came on late in the game, in the 86th minute against the reigning Dutch champions replacing Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan who capped off an impressive performance by scoring the equalizer just before half time.

The former Real Madrid and Villareal man joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from Fiorentina where he spent five successful seasons and has since the transfer featured 41 times for the Nerazzurri scoring twice in the process.
