Inter manager Luciano Spalletti spoke on the boost the character of the team has received as a result of the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 comeback victory over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

“I hope the best is still yet to come from us. In my opinion PSV are superior to us when it comes to managing games,” he is quoted as saying by broadcaster Rai Sport as saying during the post-match press conference at the Philips Stadion.

Spalletti continued and made it clear that his team still have to learn how to deal with certain situations at certain times of the game.

“At certain times we do not know when we must fall back and when we need to come out of it while sometimes we made choices that were not appropriate for the times of the much they were made in. It is clear that we have had a great match and in terms of character, we have taken some important steps forward.”
