Rajda Nainggolan revealed that he believes he and his Inter teammates ‘deservedly’ beat PSV Eindhoven 2-1 in the Champions League in an interview with Inter TV.

“After the PSV goal, we didn’t drop off in terms of tempo, we kept believing in what we were doing. We looked to get the result and we won deservedly. For me, it doesn’t matter who scores but it’s about the result of the team. It was also important that we all withstood the pressure together, we stuck together as a group.

“We moved the ball really well and were always calm in doing so. I have to say that we played well. I’m happy above all for the guys who are experiencing the Champions League for the first time. I saw that they were very calm with the ball at their feet. I can only congratulate people for the match tonight.”

He concluded the interview by speaking about his condition that he is still working to improve following an injury in recent months.

“Physically, I’m better. I’m looking to give my best every time I head on the pitch and to bring my experience to the team.”
