Inter coach Luciano Spalletti was interviewed exclusively by Italian broadcaster SportMediaset after the 2-1 win in the Champions League group stage fixture away at the Philips Stadion against PSV in Eindhoven.

The former Roma coach was asked what he meant when he described the atmosphere yesterday as massive to which he replied: “I said that because the atmosphere was almost entirely made up of the opponents fans you could only here them breathing.”

“In these cases you need to have the right personality and character as our players had, this is what made the difference Also, you need to be able to show something more which we did” Spalletti concluded.

Luciano Spalletti’s men are now in joint first place together with Barcelona in group B of the Champions League ahead of the clash between the two sides at the Camp Nou on Wednesday 24th of October with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.
