Marcelo Brozovic: “We Could Have Scored More Than Two Goals Against PSV”

Inter’s Croatian international midfielder Marcelo Brozovic was interviewed by Italian broadcaster SportMediaset after the 2-1 win in the Champions League group stage fixture away at the Philips Stadion against PSV in Eindhoven.

The FIFA World Cup finalist was asked what he thought about Inter’s performance against the Dutch champions wo which he replied that he thought that: “We were very good, especially after we conceded the goal. We continued to create chances and we could have even scored more than two goals, we all fought hard together and deserved this win.”

In conclusion Brozovic underlined that despite the perfect start in the Champions League the team had not achieved qualification from the group yet stating that: “We have to continue to work very hard in order to continue like this.”

Brozovic joined Inter in January 2015 and has since then featured 118 times across all competitions for the Nerazzurri scoring on 18 different occasions in the process.
